Fusion Proxy vs IPRoyal: traffic, sessions and static IPs
Both IPRoyal and Fusion Proxy publish non-expiring residential traffic, so compare the order size, location settings and session behavior that your job needs. IPRoyal’s longer configurable residential sessions and choice of ISP lease periods deserve attention when those requirements matter.

Which fits your project?
When to consider Fusion Proxy
Consider Fusion Proxy for country, state and city targeting, residential sessions up to 120 minutes, or dedicated ISP and datacenter IPs used by your own client.
When to consider IPRoyal
Consider IPRoyal when its longer residential session setting or its available ISP lease periods suit the project. Test the actual connection and location before committing.

Compare the traffic purchase at your project size
Non-expiring traffic is a shared feature in this comparison. Both providers describe purchased residential traffic as remaining available for later use. That can suit a project which runs in bursts, but it does not make every purchase size economical. Start with the pages you expect to check and measure a small batch before choosing the volume you will buy.
IPRoyal’s pricing page identifies its $1.75 per GB custom tier with a 10 TB order. Fusion Proxy’s $0.65 per GB tier likewise requires 10,000 GB. Neither is the starting cost of a one-gigabyte experiment. Fusion Proxy’s published 10 GB rate is $2.13 per GB; use the current IPRoyal checkout option for the same intended purchase, including whether a subscription discount applies. Keep taxes, top-up rules and the expected unused balance beside the comparison. If you only need occasional testing, having more unused traffic is not automatically a benefit just because the displayed unit rate is lower.

Does your visit need more than two hours?
IPRoyal documents a residential sticky-session setting of up to seven days. Its help page also explains that the underlying user can leave the network, so the same address may not last for the full configured duration. Fusion Proxy’s standard residential sticky range is 1 to 120 minutes. This is a material difference to check if a single connected visit normally runs longer than two hours.
Write down what must remain continuous: the IP, the browser session, a signed-in account or a long download. Those requirements are related but not identical. Keeping the same IP does not preserve browser storage if the profile is discarded. Test a full visit and inspect how the client recovers if a connection drops. For a task that needs the same assigned address on separate days, compare a static ISP product rather than relying only on a household session timer. The product choice should follow the continuity requirement instead of the longest number on a specification sheet.

Compare static IPs over the same paid period
IPRoyal’s static residential page lists different lease periods, including a one-day option and 30-, 60- and 90-day choices. Fusion Proxy’s ISP product uses renewable 30-day periods. A daily advertised price and a monthly price should therefore not be placed in one column as if they bought the same length of service. Record the number of IPs, the full paid period, bandwidth conditions and the total charge.
For an allowlist, test whether the assigned IP remains the same after restarting the application and reconnecting later. Ask how renewal works before a job depends on that address. If the project only lasts a day, a short lease may fit; if it is an ongoing account or scheduled process, check the total cost over its actual lifetime. Country and city availability can differ between residential pools and static allocations. Inspect the available stock for the static product rather than assuming a residential location menu also applies to the address you will lease.

Check the region shown by the destination page
Prepare one example for each market your job uses. Enter the requested country or city in the provider’s connection generator, then visit the actual target page with the intended language and delivery settings. Save the exit IP lookup and the page result together. This makes it easier to explain a mismatch than sending support only a country name.
IPRoyal’s residential setup guide describes selecting locations and then configuring rotation or sticky behavior. Fusion Proxy documents country, state and city targeting for standard residential connections. Use those choices to recreate the same test as closely as possible. If a store displays the wrong market, inspect account preferences, delivery postcode and browser cookies before changing providers. For repeated price checks, keep those settings consistent throughout the comparison. Narrow targeting also deserves a small availability test at the times the job will run. A global coverage list is useful for a shortlist, but the actual regional pages determine whether the connection suits your application.

Keep credentials separate from the project notes
List every application and person that currently uses the IPRoyal connection. The dashboard may be used by an account owner while scripts run with separate credentials. Before adding Fusion Proxy, decide who will purchase traffic, generate endpoints and receive usage alerts. Keep that ownership clear even if the same person initially does all three tasks.
Put the new credentials in protected application configuration and record only the non-secret settings in the migration notes. A useful note contains the provider, product, intended country, protocol, session setting and a link to the minimal test. Do not include passwords in spreadsheets, screenshots or ordinary support messages. If the setup uses IP-based authorization, confirm which public address the application actually connects from and whether it changes. Run the connection check from the production host as well as a developer’s laptop. After a successful move, revoke credentials that no longer have a purpose instead of leaving an unused working connection in an old configuration file.
Are you actually looking for a mobile connection?
Check whether the requirement is a cellular-network IP or simply a page that looks like it is being viewed on a phone. A browser’s viewport and user-agent settings affect its presentation; the proxy controls the network connection. Changing one does not automatically change the other. For a mobile layout test, you may only need a correctly configured browser and the appropriate regional connection.
If a cellular-network IP is essential, inspect the provider’s mobile product separately. Fusion Proxy currently pauses new mobile-proxy orders, so its residential offer should not be presented as an identical substitute for that requirement. IPRoyal lists a separate mobile category in its product catalog; check its current carrier, location and order conditions before choosing it. For an existing mobile-dependent job, keep the working service while evaluating alternatives. For a regional browser check, test whether a residential or static connection meets the actual requirement and describe the result precisely in your notes.

Build a fresh endpoint for the second provider
Use the provider’s current connection generator to create a test endpoint. Select the protocol your client supports, the required location and the rotation or session choice. Copy the resulting host, port and credentials into a separate configuration. An IPRoyal username with location or session parameters should stay with that provider; recreate its intended behavior through Fusion Proxy’s own settings.
Start with an IP-check request from the client, followed by a page you are permitted to access. If the check succeeds and the page fails, retain the destination response and time so the issue can be investigated. If both fail, check the protocol, authentication and purchased balance first. For a browser profile, confirm that the proxy applies to that profile; for a script, confirm that redirects and later requests use the intended client configuration. Save the minimal working test before adding a large list or many concurrent requests. That keeps the first integration change small enough to troubleshoot.

Test long visits and independent requests separately
An IPRoyal comparison is particularly useful when it separates two kinds of work. One test can run a connected visit with a signed-in account that you manage. Another can collect a short list of independent public pages. Keep the session behavior appropriate to each case instead of forcing both through the same rotation setting.
For the long visit, check continuity at the steps that matter and test how the client resumes after a failure. For the page list, record useful results, traffic used and the reason for any missing record. Include a missing page or a changed field so that error handling is exercised too. Use comparable times, client settings and destination limits. Review a sample manually to distinguish a valid record from an unexpected page. The result should tell you which configuration fits each job and what it costs to run. It should not become a blanket promise that either provider always succeeds on every site.
Keep purchased balances and scheduled jobs in view
Before moving a job, note the traffic balance, renewal date and applications attached to the existing account. Prepaid traffic does not transfer between providers when you change an endpoint. Decide whether the remaining IPRoyal traffic still has a useful role, and avoid cancelling a static lease that another application depends on. Save the previous configuration so a tested rollback remains possible.
Create the Fusion Proxy endpoint in a test environment and run a complete sample with the same parser and output format. Compare the records and usage before moving one scheduled task. During the transition, ensure that only one version performs account actions or writes to the final output. Review subsequent runs, then remove obsolete credentials and update the ownership notes. A staged move makes it possible to keep IPRoyal where its session or lease options fit while using Fusion Proxy for another task. There is no need to change unrelated jobs merely to make the account list shorter.
Choose the session and purchase arrangement that fits
IPRoyal deserves consideration when a longer configurable residential session, a short static lease or an existing working setup is important. Its non-expiring residential traffic is also relevant for occasional projects. Test the necessary location and read the conditions of the specific product; a long residential session and a dedicated static IP remain different things to buy.
Fusion Proxy is an option when its residential session range and targeting match the work, or when a renewable 30-day static allocation fits a recurring connection. Compare the actual quantity you will order and the useful output from the trial. If the job needs a cellular connection, address that separately while Fusion Proxy’s new mobile orders are paused. Finish with a plan that names the application, product, market and test budget. Support can then help with a concrete connection question rather than an open-ended request to replace everything an IPRoyal account might contain.
